Armoured Vehicles Middle East 2018

Armoured Vehicles Middle East 2018 will identify innovative solutions to modernise operational capabilities, upgrade vehicle survivability, and achieve combat superiority for counter-insurgency, low-intensity warfare and asymmetric warfare. The objective of the conference is to evolve participants’ understanding of the combat capabilities required for accelerating mobility and enhancing flexibility in all terrain, upgrading passive and active vehicle protection, and achieving tactical offensive and defensive advantage over the adversary. The event will offer the opportunity to strengthen and deepen strategic partnerships among regional players in the areas of military and military-technical spheres. The conference programme will aid in this by determining methodologies to:

Upgrade defence against armour-piercing weapons, such as IED and RPGs by modernising blast and fragmentation protection

Enhance survivability by integrating cooling technology, reducing vehicle signature in radar, infrared and visual spectrum, and advancing protection against small arms and light anti-tank weapons

Improve weapons systems and target detection by strengthening anti-tank short and long-range direct fire capability, upgrading artillery systems and incorporating complete suite of ammunition

Redefine existing assets and modernise specialised vehicles by integrating cutting-edge technologies to defeat threats emanating from insurgents and terrorist organisations
