FLYING HIGH: THE MIDDLE EAST DRONES AND ANTI-DRONES MARKET

Themed around Protecting Critical Infrastructure, Driving Real-Time Emergency Response,Neutralising Operational and Intelligence Risk

PWC estimates that commercial applications have a total addressable market of $127 billion globally. It is touted to expand at a 20.18% CAGR from 2018 to 2028. The anti-drone market is expected to grow from $499 million in 2018 to $2,276 million by 2024, at a CAGR of 28.8%.

With the application of drones soon becoming a necessity across sectors, learn from industry experts as they take you through the journey on how to tackle the dynamic world of drones, and counter-drones and understanding the trends, regulations as well as how the region is dealing with the ever-changing market at The Drones, Counter Drones & UAS Middle East Summit 2019 being held on 29th April – 1st May, 2019 at The Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa.

The projected commercial drone revenue in the Middle East and Africa by 2022 is expected to generate just under 220 million U.S. dollars in revenue. The market is projected to grow at a CAGR of over 30% during 2018-2024. The relevance of an event such as this is high because we see the application of drones and anti-drones across sectors such as Oil & Gas, Ports, Airports, Construction, Government Applications, Transportation, Health, and Military where they are contributing largely in decreasing costs, in the betterment of society and more importantly ensuring safety.

Mr. Mohammed Aziz, CEO of Airscope said “It is extremely critical to have a conference such as this, as the application of drones results in increased efficiencies as against traditional methods across sectors, such as inspection in Oil & Gas and infrastructure which are more prevailing in this region. With UAE being among the first in the region in the application of drones and counter-drones, Saudi Arabia and Oman have really opened up to it as well, especially with Saudi loosening its regulations on it. We are really looking forward to the conference as it is our second time partnering with IQPC, we had a great first time and hope to be associated in the future as well”

The event will be graced by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Al Sharqi, VIP Guest of Honour, UAE Royal Family; His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed Al Faisal, Chairman of HICAP Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia and His Excellency Louai Mohammed Ali, Goodwill Ambassador of UN and Chairman of Plambeck Emirates.

The conference will feature senior representatives of the UAV world.
