Nation Shield official media partner for IDEX, NAVDEX
The Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) have signed a media partnership with the defence publication, Nation Shield. The magazine will issue the daily newsletter for the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX 2021), the Naval Defence Exhibition (NAVDEX 2021), and the International Defence Conference.
The exhibitions, held under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will be held from 21st - 25th February, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The International Defence Conference will be held on 20th February, at the ADNOC Business Centre.
IDEX, NAVDEX and the International Defence Conference showcase the latest developments across the military sector, demonstrate the latest in peacekeeping and defence technologies, and forge new relationships between national, corporate, and academic entities attending the four day event.
Both exhibitions will attract a wide range of decision makers, sector experts, and industry specialists in the defence sector. Representatives will discuss how technological adoption can meet shifting global demand, as well as understanding how to enable further engagement that enables greater international security.

This strategic agreement is signed in that spirit, as we look to bolster the business tourism sector through IDEX and NAVDEX. We look to hold major events at our centres in a manner which befits both the reputation and position of the emirate of Abu Dhabi at the regional and international level," Saeed bin Khadim Al Mansoori, Executive Director of IDEX and NAVDEX exhibitions, said.
For his part, Staff Colonel Yousef Juma Al Haddad, Editor in Chief of Nation Shield Magazine, stated, "Exhibitors and participants will be provided with media and advertising space in our regular newsletters. We will also prepare and publish specialised media articles and hold exclusive interviews with officials from leading national and international participants, experts, and decision makers. We aims to produce creative and informative content that adds value to all readers."
The last editions of IDEX and NAVDEX coincided with the 25th Anniversary of IDEX, launched in 1993. Over 124,000 visitors attended the exhibitions, held over five days. IDEX and NAVDEX and the International Defence Conference are held every two years.
