Saif bin Zayed visits IDEX 2021
H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, today visited several national and international pavilions at the 15th edition of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2021), currently being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
H.H. inspected a number of national pavilions that display the latest developments in the defense industries sector in the country in terms of advanced and innovative technology and equipment, which reflects the development in the national defense industries sector, as he heard from officials of these pavilions for a summary of what is presented of these advanced industries.
Sheikh Saif also visited a number of Arab and international pavilions and was briefed on the most important technologies they offer in the military and defense fields, and in communications, protection and security systems. The Minister then talked with exhibitors and a number of officials about the modern and innovative products, technologies, machinery, and technical equipment they provide for military forces, as well as security and safety maintained as sustainable solutions for military operations.
IDEX is the largest international events to take place in the post-pandemic recovery phase. The Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX) is also being held along IDEX.
