G700 Wows Crowds in Singapore Debut

The Gulfstream G700, boasting an ultralarge cabin, made its grand entrance at the Singapore Airshow, alongside the established favourite, the Gulfstream G600.

From February 20 to 25, aviation enthusiasts and industry professionals had the opportunity to marvel at these impressive aircraft on display at the Changi Exhibition Centre. This marked a significant moment for Gulfstream, showcasing its latest advancements in business jet technology and design.

Most Spacious Cabin
Featuring the most spacious cabin in business aviation, the G700 can be configured with up to five living areas, seats up to 19 passengers and sleeps up to 13, and offers innovative options including the industry’s only ultragalley, with over 10 feet/3 metres of counter space.

The interior provides extraordinary comfort with award-winning seat designs and the Gulfstream Cabin Experience with 100 per cent fresh air, whisper-quiet sound levels, abundant natural light and the industry’s lowest cabin altitude: 2,840 ft/866 m when flying at 41,000 ft/12,497 m.

With a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.935, the G700 is the fastest in the Gulfstream fleet and can link Singapore to London at Mach 0.87.

“The long-range advantage of the Gulfstream G700 and G600 is incredibly important to customers in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Scott Neal, senior vice president, Worldwide Sales, Gulfstream. “We showcased these record-setting aircraft at the Singapore Airshow so customers can experience first-hand their unmatched performance, innovative design and exceptional comfort.”

Green Trans-Atlantic Feat
Known for its class-leading fuel-efficiency and outstanding performance, the G600 recently completed the world’s first trans-Atlantic flight using 100 per cent sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), a reflection of Gulfstream’s commitment to leading industry sustainability efforts.

The G600 not only delivers the renowned Gulfstream Cabin Experience but also showcases exceptional performance capabilities. With an impressive range of 6,600 nautical miles/12,223 kilometres at Mach 0.85 or 5,600 nm/10,371 km at Mach 0.90, it stands as a pinnacle of efficiency and speed in aviation. Its capability to connect Singapore to Istanbul at Mach 0.90 underscores its global connectivity.

As of today, over 130 G600 units are in active service.

Advanced Avionics
The G700 and G600, along with the other aircraft in Gulfstream’s next-generation fleet, share commonalities that are designed to provide better operational efficiencies and enhance safety. Both jets are outfitted with advanced avionics, including the Gulfstream Symmetry Flight Deck with the industry’s first active control sidesticks, dual head-up displays, a Data Concentration Network, and the most extensive use of touch-screen technology in business aviation.
