Yugoimport–SDPR Brings Innovations to the Spotlight

In recent years, Yugoimport–SDPR has not only shown steadfast determination to come to grips with new development and manufacturing projects but has also endeavoured to introduce innovations through new techniques and software solutions for managing and improving its business activities.

By investing more effort and resources in further development, the Company has demonstrated its intention to hold on to its traditional customers and to the markets won in the past few years, but also to penetrate the regions where it has not yet positioned itself for sustainable market success.

Yugoimport–SDPR has concentrated its efforts on the development and serial production of new defence products, focusing primarily on complex combat systems, self-propelled artillery and artillery rocket systems. Most of these new products are already part of the Serbian Armed Forces.

Infantry fighting vehicle Lazanski 8x8 with 57 mm RCWS is the most sophisticated and modern, heavy armoured vehicle, developed by Yugoimport–SDPR. The integration of world-class heavy-duty components, special materials and technology led to the development of a vehicle capable of competing with the very top producers in the world.

Automatic weapon station AU-220M is designed for installation on future armoured combat vehicles and modernisation of currently deployed vehicles in order to increase the firepower of motorised rifled and infantry units. AU-220M main armament can also be used to accomplish air defence missions, thus expanding the combat flexibility of armoured combat vehicles. It is designed as a remote-controlled unmanned artillery module.

The Lazar 3M infantry fighting vehicle is equipped with RCWS 30 mm 32V01. It is designed to engage enemy personnel (wearing individual body armour), fire assets and unarmoured/ lightly armoured equipment, perform reconnaissance and target recognition, and surveillance over the environment. When integrated on armoured combat vehicles, the turret acts as the main armament system.

While the Nora B-52 M21 is the latest version of the 155 mm self-propelled artillery weapon of Yugoimport-SDPR. The 155 mm self-propelled gun-howitzer is fitted with 155 mm/52 cal. ordnance with 23 l chamber providing a range of 41 km with ERFB/BB projectiles and zone 10 propellant charge. It provides fire support with intensive, sudden and rapid fire on targets of tactical, operational and strategic importance at long distances. It has a maximum rate of fire of 4 rds/min. It is mounted on a MAN chassis.

The wheel formula is 8x8 with a maximum road speed of 95 km/h and road autonomy of 650 km. Additionally, the Tamnava is a multiple-launch rocket system 122/262 mm designed as a modular system. The modularity is reflected in the possibility of using launch pods armed with 262 mm rockets and all variants of 122 mm rockets.

The 122/262 mm MLRS is a completely automated weapon equipped with GPS and INS that can perform a pre-set mission with full autonomy.
