Egypt Airshow 2024 To Bring Africa and Middle East’s Aerospace Industry Together

Egypt recently announced that the Egypt Airshow is all set to take place in May 2024. The event will be organised by Arabian World Events and is officially supported by the Ministry of Defence, the Egyptian Air Force, and the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
 
The announcement was made at a press conference in the presence of Air Marshal Mahmoud Fouad Abdel-Gawad, Commander of the Air Force, Mohamed Abbas Helmy, Minister of Civil Aviation, Major General Bakr, Muhammad Al-Bayoumi, Chief of the Signal Department in the Armed Forces, Prof. Sherif Mohamed Sedky, CEO of Egyptian Space Agency and Thomas Gaunt, CEO, Arabian World Events.
 
The Airshow will take place at El Alamein New International Airport, one of Egypt’s most prominent new tourist cities. It will showcase cutting-edge advancements in defence, space and commercial aviation. 
 
The four-day event will include a range of features, including a world-class exhibition space, VIP hospitality chalets and hospitality, a high-level conference, and a fully-hosted VIP delegation programme, in addition to a static park and flying displays featuring the latest aircraft.
 
The event will showcase the latest technologies and advancements in the field, with exhibitors ranging from aircraft manufacturers to avionics and electronics suppliers, space industry suppliers, and research and development organisations.
 
The event expects participation from more than 250 exhibitors, alongside a display of 50 aircraft on the static park. Over 100 VIPs are set to attend, engaging in a tailored delegation programme that includes personalised meetings with exhibitors. Furthermore, esteemed delegations from Air Forces, Civil Aviation Authorities, and Space Agencies are anticipated to attend, further enhancing the international significance of the event.
 
Additionally, investors, financial analysts, researchers, and academics will attend, providing valuable insights into the latest industry trends and technologies.
 
Gaunt said: “The event will serve as a place for international Air Forces, Civil Aviation Authorities, Space Agencies, Airlines and other VIP delegations to meet with the entire aerospace value chain, many of whom have already committed to their participation in the show.
