Indonesian Navy Enhances MCM Capabilities with Exail’s USVs
Exail has been selected to supply multiple Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs) and Mine Identification and Disposal Systems (MIDS) to the Indonesian Navy, enabling a fully integrated unmanned Mine Countermeasures (MCM) capability.
The contract covers the delivery of four Exail’s Inspector 90 USVs, along with Seascan and K-Ster Mine Identification and Disposal Systems. These advanced systems will be deployed from two new, next-generation MCM motherships, KRI Pulau Fani and KRI Pulau Fanildo.
All systems will be remotely operated from the mothership and coordinated through Exail’s unified Command and Control (C2) centre. The C2 centre, powered by the Umisoft software suite and installed in the ship’s combat room, will provide integrated control software for both sweeping and hunting operations.
