AIDTSEC to Highlight the AI Advantage

AIDTSEC 2021, the artificial intelligence (AI) in defence technologies and cyber security exhibition and conference, organised by SOFEX, will take place on 27 and 28 October at the King Hussein bin Talal Convention Centre, located next to the Dead Sea in Jordan. 
 
The two-day conference and exhibition  aims to be the platform for AI Defence Technology and Cyber Security lead experts, innovators and start-ups to exchange expertise, strategies, and knowledge in driving forward AI. AIDTSEC will be opening its doors to over 70 official delegations from over 34 countries.
 
Cyber Security Directors of Armed Forces, Government Entities and Ministries and CEOs of international and regional companies are expected to attend the conference. AIDTSEC will provide a suitable atmosphere to acquaint international delegations with local and regional companies and visitors with their capabilities in the fields of AI and Cyber Security.
 
Furthermore, a high-powered speaker line-up of CEOs and key decision-makers from regional and international companies and government entities are set to discuss the latest strategic and operational trends in the field of AI and Cyber Security in Defence Technologies. 
 
The conference will cover topics such as AI Applications in Defence Systems and their Influence on Sense of Security of Citizens, Swarm Intelligence, Cyber Security Rise & Challenges and the DX Strategy of Jordan, What makes a Nation a Cyber Leader?, Deploying AI in Border Protection, and the Ethical Applications of AI, among others. 
 
Some of these topics will be covered by H.E. Ahmad Hanandeh, Jordan’s Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. Some other speakers are from companies signed on as AIDTSEC’s official Cyber Security partners such as Ayman Mazahreh, Co-Founder and CEO of STS Arabia, Conrad Prince CB, Senior Adviser at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, and Jamie Ryan Bagby, Deputy Director at Raytheon Cyber Services. In addition, high ranking key personnel from the Jordanian Armed Forces will take the stage to discuss emerging topics and trends in Defence Technologies and Autonomous Systems and Vehicles.
