Falcon 6X Ascends, Sets Aerial Luxury Benchmarks

Dassault Aviation’s game-changing Falcon 6X has officially entered service, setting a new standard for widebody comfort and redefining luxury travel. Measuring six feet, six inches in height and eight feet, six inches in width, the 6X will be the first ultra-widebody purpose-built business jet in the industry.

No longer just a dream, non-stop intercontinental journeys like London to Hong Kong or Los Angeles to Geneva are now effortless thanks to Falcon 6x’s impressive 5,500nm range.

“Dassault Aviation shares this remarkable occasion with its customers, who are sure to receive an exceptional aircraft,” said Éric Trappier, Chairman and CEO.

The jet received certifications from both EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) and the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) on August 22.

Innovative Cabin
Falcon 6X redefines in-flight experience with its innovative cabin features. The FalconConnect system ensures uninterrupted high-speed connectivity for productive journeys.

An optional Privacy Suite has multiple uses. It can serve as an executive meeting area during the day or a resting place at night. With an amendable divider and berthable seats, two people can talk privately or one can sleep in secluded comfort. It’s also a great place to relax, work, or enjoy HD entertainment.

The 6X’s cabin allows more freedom of movement, privacy and relaxation, and more room for teamwork. It can be customised to specific needs.
The cabin features flowing, uninterrupted lines to enhance the feeling of space and de-clutter the cabin. Thirty extra-large windows and a skylight flood the cabin with natural light, while providing true panoramic views. Passengers can also control mood lighting to help them manage their circadian rhythm and adjust flawlessly to multiple time zones.

Health Features
The Jet boasts top-tier health features: superior air filtration and regulated pressure for fatigue reduction. It also shares the superior sound-proofing technology of other Falcon cabins, the quietest in the industry.
The flight deck has the latest generation of Dassault’s award-winning avionics suite, EASy IV, with more bright displays, extra processing power, new capabilities and  fresh safety features.

For example, an audible alert feature is integrated to help prevent runway overruns. Innovations like this allow pilots more time for mission-critical decision-making.

The Jet comes with a worldwide support network, including FalconResponse, a suite of Aircraft On Ground (AOG) support services committed to quickly returning a grounded Falcon back into operation. Unique FalconResponse support system offers alternate passenger options  — an industry first. The combination of flexible working and living space, with ergonomically designed comfort, will help stay refreshed and accomplish more as one travels farther.

Setting a safety benchmark, FalconEye elevates situational awareness during challenging approaches.
FalconScan, a groundbreaking health-monitoring system, anticipates maintenance needs, a first for Falcons. Equipped with advanced diagnostics monitoring over 100,000 parameters, the 6X ensures peak performance. Unmatched operating flexibility on short runways reaffirms Falcon’s excellence.

Smarter Control
Dassault’s Digital Flight Control System (DFCS) orchestrates all surfaces, ensuring peak performance and efficiency. Enhanced safety margins via advanced flight envelope protection redefine Cockpit Resource Management (CRM), easing pilot workload for an impeccable passenger experience.
This intelligent system harmonises control across axes, amplifying pitch, roll damping, and yaw stability. In autopilot mode, DFCS adeptly smoothens control response in turbulence, elevating both pilot ease and passenger comfort.

A powerful rudder provides responsive control during windy takeoffs and approaches. Nosewheel steering is integrated into the DFCS for smoother ground control and more precise runway tracking.
The DFCS ensures smoother, precise flights, delighting pilots and passengers alike with improved efficiency and safety.

Engine Excellence
The aircraft harnesses the cutting-edge Pratt & Whitney PW812D engines, ensuring not only exceptional flight safety and performance but also remarkable strides in fuel efficiency and reduced carbon emissions.

Built on the proven technology of Pratt & Whitney’s acclaimed commercial engines, its low-noise design ensures a quieter journey.
This advanced engine series, part of the PW800 family, stands as a pinnacle in modern, efficient, and eco-conscious engineering.

Delivering double-digit enhancements in fuel burn, emissions, and noise compared to its predecessors, it’s also compatible with Sustainable Aviation Fuel. Combined with the renowned Falcon design prowess, it forms an unparalleled synergy of power and sustainability.
