Nedaa Showcases Mission-critical Solutions

Nedaa recently participated at Gitex Technology Week to showcase the company’s latest mission-critical solutions, applications and devices available in the local market.

The company’s technology partners, Esharah Etisalat Security Solutions, Airbus, and Nokia exhibited their smart innovations and intelligent tools, being developed with Nedaa. These solutions operate through Nedaa’s 4G network, an information and communications technology infrastructure designed to speed up Dubai’s transition to a digital world.

The same technologies, which are widely being utilised by first responders and health and safety personnel in the Emirates, are designed to ensure a fast response to emergencies and crises, as well as maintain peace and order in local communities.

Digital Acceleration
Nedaa demonstrated technologies such as its artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled drone system operating through the secure Nedaa 4G network. The system is designed to help analyse accidents, locate injured people and assist first responders.

Additionally, Airbus displayed its Tactilon Agnet 800, Tactilon Agnet 500 and Dabat Hybrid Roaming solutions. Tactilon Agnet 800 allows smartphone users to communicate in TETRA groups at the touch of a button, while Tactilon Agnet 500 serves as secure and efficient group collaboration and communication platform. The Dabat Hybrid Roaming device is a smartphone and a TETRA radio in one, operated through Nedaa’s 4G network.

For Esharah’s part, the innovative features of its computer-aided dispatch, SAGA (COMMAND & CONTROL), which is being developed by Nedaa and Dubai Police’s Transport Security Department and records all incidents and dispatches rescue teams in a record time, were on display. In addition, Esharah’s ACOM, a complete mission-critical communication solution, was highlighted along with Stashcat, a secure messenger application that helps create communication groups for the team.

Another solution on display was Esharah’s Epic Blue, a smart indoor tracking platform that brings the power of location to places where GPS-based positioning is unavailable or unreliable.
Nokia, for its part, highlighted the modern features of its vessel and truck tracking solution, which offers real-time visibility and monitoring of containers, trucks and vessels.
H.E. Mansoor Bu Osaiba, Chief Executive Officer, Nedaa said: “This year’s Gitex enabled us at Nedaa to emphasise the significance of deploying critical communication devices, applications and solutions. Our pavilion focused on the role of these products in furthering the goals and objectives of our public safety agencies. This comes at an opportune time when the world is in a most challenging situation in which the raging coronavirus disease pandemic has forced us to implement stronger community safety and health protection protocols. At the crux of these measures are relevant technologies that are able to support secure team collaboration and communication for faster response time to emergencies and crises.”
