Orbiter 1K Successes Validate Aeronautics’ Proven Track Record
Aeronautics Ltd. recently won a contract to supply Orbiter 1K loitering munition Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) to an international customer. The contract is valued at US$40 million.
The Orbiter 1K is a Class 1 loitering munition UAS that demonstrates high performance for real-time Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions and operations. Leveraging the combat-proven legacy of the Orbiter UAS family, this mature system delivers range, endurance, precision, and lethality with minimal collateral effects. With the recently added capabilities both in the UAV and ground station segments, the added operational flexibility attained allows for a wide range of observation and intelligence operations, meeting the dynamic needs of modern warfare.

The Orbiter 1K is part of the Orbiter family of UAVs (Orbiter 1K, 2, 3, 4 and 5), which covers the complete tactical class mission requirements set and are all operated via an advanced and common ground segment and operating system, enabling flexibility and ease of use. The compact and lightweight design ensures ease of use for tactical and special forces operating in the field, efficiently closing the sensor to shooter loop for the required mission scenarios with reliability and performance.
