Roke Offers Decisive Advantage in Electro-Magnetic Environment

Gaining control of the electromagnetic spectrum (ES) is critical in the modern data-driven battlespace, where understanding the adversaries’ electromagnetic footprint is essential to achieving decisive military advantage.

The increasingly complex and congested electromagnetic spectrum has necessitated the need for a highly accurate and operationally proven system to assist military operations.

For over five decades, Roke has specialised in electronic warfare, delivering critical mission support for international customers including Europe, North America, Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

The award-winning RESOLVE Multi-Role (MR) Tactical Electronic Surveillance system is part of its Cyber and Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA) family of capabilities designed and manufactured in house.

This family is integrated by design to ensure all capabilities operate effectively and, affordably across the common Mission Planning, Execution and Exploitation platform known as VIPER. This enables the delivery of a complete solution from the strategic to the tactical throughout the Land Domain.

LOCATE & LOCATE-T
Designed as a High Frequency (HF) strategic asset, Roke’s LOCATE system uses cutting edge algorithms and techniques to allow for wideband intercept across the HF spectrum. It uses adaptive digital beamforming and Super Resolution Direction Finding (SRDF) to plot accurate transmission geolocation on a global scale.

A team transportable version of LOCATE, LOCATE-T, can be used as a baseline extension across national borders in complex environments. Allowing HF intercept over mountain ranges utilising Near Vertical Incidence, the SR DF and Adaptive Digital Beamforming technologies deliver a high degree of accuracy and the ability to detect, track and prosecute multiple targets simultaneously in a tactical environment.

RESOLVE Multi-Role (MR)
Scalable at a tactical level from a fully-integrated vehicle system to On-The-March, RESOLVE MR is an operationally proven H/V/UHF electronic support system, which allows for accurate DF and position fixing.

RESOLVE MR gives the operator access to narrow band and complex transmissions through a 40MHz instantaneous bandwidth.

PERCEIVE Multi-Role (MR)
PERCEIVE MR is a Multifunction Electronic Warfare (MFEW) radio head designed around Near-Peer/Peer-Peer conflict, covering 2MHz-6GHz. Designed to provide superiority in today’s information-led battlespace, it is the first tactical wideband integrated antenna head to utilise both Adaptive Beamforming and SRDF technologies in such a small sensor.

This approach allows operators to ‘see’ through the clutter and report pinpoint position fixes with the highest degree of accuracy and the smallest sensor profile.

PERCEIVE MR has been designed to deliver the full range of tactical missions that can rapidly flex from full vehicle integration to lightweight team deployments and deliver unparalleled DF and intercept capability.

Roke’s electronic warfare capabilities work seamlessly to identify, fix and exploit adversary communications systems offering a critical lead in the electro-magnetic environment.
