PIK-AS Highlights LED Map Reading Light

A specialist in electromechanical products for harsh environments, PIK-AS Austria GmbH lined up some of its leading products like the LED map reading light PA2310R at Eurosatory 2022. 
 
PIK-AS Austria GmbH earlier announced that the LED map reading light PA2310R had been positioned as a standard for land vehicles and military workspaces. 
 
With several thousand sold units for different international land vehicle programmes, the map reading light of PIK-AS Austria proved that armies trusted the provided functionalities, such as: white light, blackout/colour light, automatic change to blackout light, backup battery, stepless dimming, low voltage alert, EMC MIL-STD-461 approval, shock/vibration approval, and the fact that it is combat approved. 
 
The LED map reading light became the new standard for land vehicles and impressed through brilliant light output, user friendly operation, robust design, high reliability and best performance on the market, according to the company officials. 
 
Besides the map reading light, PIK-AS also offered several series of dome lights with the same range of options and customised versions to suit existing or new designs of land vehicles, military shelters or containers. 
 
The units were all presented on the PIK-AS Austria booth at Eurosatory in Paris.
 
40th Anniversary
This year, PIK-AS Austria GmbH with its headquarters in Mariasdorf (Austria), is celebrating its 40th year in business. Founded in the early 80’s through Franz Polster, an expert in business development and recogniser of technical trends, the company grew steadily in the sales and production of electromechanical components, such as high-power relays, LED interior lighting, power connectors and harnessing for special purpose vehicles. 
 
Still a private company and managed in second generation through Christina Polster, PIK-AS expanded the production capacities and opened the new production facility in Unterschuetzen (Austria) at the beginning of this year. 
 
For the last four decades, the PIK-AS group has remained a reliable partner for commercial vehicles as well as for military vehicle industries, serving its clients with high quality electromechanical products, like relays, contactors, connectors, exterior lighting and intelligent dome light systems for military applications. It has been certified and develops products according to latest military standards. 
 
The company also provides high voltage and high power contactors for electrical vehicles, besides offering customers individually tailored solutions.
