ADNEC Gears up to Host Fifth Edition of Abu Dhabi International Boat Show
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, and in strategic partnership with Abu Dhabi Maritime, ADNEC Group is all set to host the fifth edition of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) from 9 to 12 November.
ADIBS is an ideal platform for local and international companies to strengthen their presence in the region’s markets. The event serves as an opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their products to a wide range of marine enthusiasts who have an interest in fishing equipment, yachts, boats and water sports.
Last year’s edition of the show attracted local and international participation, bringing in more than 548 prominent local and international brands. Additionally, last year’s edition saw the participation of 44 countries, a 57 per cent increase over the previous year.
Furthermore, last year’s edition featured a range of entertainment and interactive activities, which provided visitors with a unique experience, including a fly board tournament, stunt shows, and free boat trips for all visitors. It also included the “Maritime Talks” discussion panels, which allowed visitors and participants to learn about the latest news related to ocean sustainability.
The event will be located on the waterfront at ADNEC Marina, a brand-new multipurpose space, which is the largest waterside exhibition hall in the MENA region. It was inaugurated during the show last year.
Suitable for exhibitions, corporate and special events, as well as product launches and activations, this unique space can incorporate activities and showcases both on and off the water. With an area of more than 153,000 square metres, ADNEC is among one of the region’s largest exhibition and conference centres in terms of space allocated to indoor and outdoor events .
